Michael Svoboda spent the last eight years working with some of the  best TV writers in the business.  As writer's assistant on The Walking DeadDexter, and the Powers pilot, to name a few, he learned from the inside what makes great characters tick.

Growing up in the middle of nowhere Nebraska, Michael became obsessed with film at a very young age, seeing it as a way to escape his environs and explore new strange worlds.  At the University of Nebraska he studied English and Film, where he received his BA.

Between Nebraska and Los Angeles, Michael wrote for the alternative newsweekly, The Portland Mercury, in Portland, Oregon.  But it was when he finally landed in Los Angeles, in 2005, that he knew he had found his creative home-- amongst the dreamers, the freaks, and the media obsessed.
