There are rumors that Dagan Harris has eyes that fill with black and send him into a preternatural rage. Once vowed to his wife to be a man of peace, Dagan is called into the fray of World War II. When he is promoted to leader of his squadron, the fleet of B-24s is struck down by a strange green thunder and only Dagan survives the carnage. After a coup is started in his prison camp, Dagan continues to survive the impossible in an effort to escape the horror of war with his new friends. Soon his very reality begins to melt away as if his memory has been tampered with and he can no longer tell if the demons he faced were real or a fabricated projection from his war-torn soul.
