Eleanor Harris:
Eleanor has stuck with Dagan ever since they were chidren, growing up in the same small town. After Dagan’s first spell of preternatural rage, she allies with Dagan and promises to help keep him a man of peace. Eventually she falls in love with young Dagan when he stands up to a high school bully in a peculiar way. She is a sharp busy body and despite her frustrations with Dagan, does her best to keep her husband on a moral path. When Dagan returns home from war, he carries a heavy burden that begins to test Eleanor’s faith in him.
